Attendees at this Saturday’s SAG Awards will have a place to party after the big show, thanks to People.
The magazine returns as host of the official post-SAG Awards gala for a 26th year at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. As part of the partnership, People will once again make an unspecified grant to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s emergency assistance programs, which helps performing artists facing life-threatening illness and severe economic hardship.
“People is proud of our established partnership with the SAG Awards and to help commemorate remarkable actors and their performances over the past year,” offered People‘s editor-in-chief Wendy Naugle. “SAG-AFTRA Foundation provides vital support to the entertainment community. As People celebrates our 50th anniversary, we are excited to celebrate the cultural change makers who have made the industry what it is today — and who will do so in the years to come.”
